Travel:
The
area is serviced by major airlines. Air Canada with
partners Air Canada Jazz and Tango. Travellers can
fly to the Deer Lake Airport from anywhere in the
United States and Canada where they will be picked
up by a member of the Viking Trail Outfitters staff
and transported to Hawkes Bay. If your interested
in wildlife watching, this journey could be very
enjoyable.
Land
Travel:
Persons
travelling to the area by motor vehicle will travel
to North Sydney. Nova Scotia and take Marine Atlantic
car ferry to Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. From
there, it is a 450 kilometre (270 mile) drive to
Hawkes Bay on a quality two lanes paved highway.
Be careful of wildlife since you'll be travelling
